THE 5/20 PROJECT is dedicated to supporting the demonstration of the biblical teaching of Giving and Receiving. Our emphasis is on being compassionate to those we witness in real-time, who need immediate financial relief. We believe that teaching and demonstrating generosity, in the moment, can make a life-changing impact on both the Giver and the Receiver.
There are no borders to the compassion of Jesus.
THE 5/20 PROJECT in real-time:
A mom rolls up to the gas pump with a bunch of kids in the car, and she pumps $5 into the tank. The Giver, observing the need, gives the mom a $20 bill, and says, "This is a gift to you from Jesus."
$20 really did make a difference to that overwhelmed mom. At that very moment, she knew Jesus saw her and that Jesus loved her.
Now both the Giver & Reciever have a story to share...
Participating with Holy Spirits compassion to lead and activate the giving of a tangible blessing of a $20 cash gift in real time to an individual who finds themselves in the moment of extreme financial stress.
